Come celebrate the launch of the new Waterville Seed Library. Join us at the Waterville Public Library on March 28th from 1pm-3pm for an afternoon of snacks, activities and seeds! Learn about our new seed collection and enjoy good food. There will be activities for all ages and you can leave with your own seeds!
The purpose of the seed library is to share with all community members, the resources to grow their own healthy, sustainable food at no cost. The Waterville Library is committed to sharing knowledge and resources with the Waterville community and we are proud to now offer seeds as part of our collection.
The seed library collection was started with donations from Healthy Northern Kennebec and the Alfond Youth Center Biodome Program, and funding and support from the Colby Office of Civic Engagement and the Waterville Public Library.
We are so excited to share this new resource with the community!
