Visions of the Universe is a series of illustrated posters charting 400 years of progress in astronomy. Beginning with Galileo’s mission to study celestial bodies in more detail, the series moves outward through the cosmos, outlining the milestone achievements of astronomers and inventors in understanding outer space.
Visions of the Universe: Four Centuries of Discovery was produced by the Space Telescope Science Institute, the American Library Association, and the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, through funding from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
The opening reception will be Saturday, November 10 at 1pm. The reception will have tours of the exhibition, Earth and Space activities, and a cool Galileo scope for you to try!
