FREE while supplies last
In response to the COVID-19 public health crisis and our need to keep social distance, Waterville Creates! is launching a new program in collaboration with the Colby Museum and the Waterville School System. Art Kits for All is our effort to help keep all of our communities’ families engaged and entertained during this public health crisis by providing free art supplies and Do-It-Yourself instructions for simple-yet-satisfying art projects that can be created at home.
The Art Kits for All will be distributed on Wednesday, April 8th contain colored paper, pencils and pencil sharpeners donated by Common Street Arts and the Colby College Museum of Art. The Art Kits for All were assembled by a collaborative team including representatives from Waterville Creates!, the Colby College Museum of Art, and the Waterville School System. Masks and gloves were worn during kit assembly and all art materials were disinfected to remove any risk of contamination — the kits were prepared and sealed a week prior to the distribution date to further minimize any transmission risk.
Waterville Creates! would like to extend its sincerest thanks to the AYCC for allowing us to participate in its amazing Feeding Families Initiative — we are so very proud of how our community has come together!
