We are cancelling today due to rain, however, we will bring these supplies next week for art in the park. We will have supplies for both the wind socks and the garden planning for participants to try at the art in the park on June 20th. See you next week!
Pigs, sheep and goats, oh my! The exhibition, lost + found: photographs by susan metzger on view at Common Street Arts gallery, celebrates the simple and humble landscapes of Maine. Create a cool wind sock for your house or yard that are inspired by the awesome domestic farm animals that can be found this exhibition.
This program will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
Art in the Park, a program of Common Street Arts is designed to foster creativity and community among residents and visitors to Waterville. Art in the Park is a free, weekly program that takes place each Thursday at River walk at Head of Falls during the Farmers’ Market. Art in the Park partners with area teaching artists to develop unique arts programming — providing accessible workshops and special family-friendly activities for community members to engage in creative practices that relate to ongoing exhibitions at Common Street Arts, as well as related programs at the Maine Film Center, Colby Museum of Art, Waterville Public Library, and Waterville Opera House.
