COVID-19 Policy

In recognition of the increasing spread of COVID-19 and in an effort to protect the health and safety of our patrons, staff, performers, and community at large, Waterville Creates will require proof of vaccination (or a negative COVID-19 test) and masking at all indoor events.

Effective Friday, August 27, 2021, for all indoor events at the Waterville Opera House, Maine Film Center/Railroad Square Cinema, and Ticonic Studios, Waterville Creates will require audience members age 12 and up to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to arrival. Proof of vaccination (a physical vaccine card or clear photo of your card) or negative test (official lab report; home tests will not be accepted) will be required at the door. Patrons age 18 and older will be required to provide a valid photo ID.

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, masks will be required for all patrons and may only be removed to eat or drink while seated in the venues.

This policy also applies to all Waterville Creates’ staff and volunteers present at indoor events.

All attendees agree to follow venue policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at the venue. All attendees should consider their risk in determining whether to attend a Waterville Creates event. By entering an event, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

If you have purchased a ticket, and cannot comply with our policy, you may request a refund on your purchase by contacting the Box Office at 207 873-7000 or [email protected].

This policy is subject to change at any time.
