Join artist Barbara Sullivan for a hands-on exploration of the medium of fresco painting. Students will develop an understanding and working knowledge of true buon fresco (painting into freshly laid wet plaster). Learn the many steps involved, how to prepare substrates, arriccio, and intonaco layers of plaster and how to grind pigments like the old masters. Space is limited and registration is required.
