animal migration is a topic of many dimensions. It involves behavior, physiology, and ecology. there are also migratory similarities and differences between birds, mammals, insects, and fish. In collaboration with the exhibition into the forest, please join common street arts for a presentation by bernd heinrich who will discuss the fall bird migration and its contrast with other animals in terms of why and how they travel great distances. free.
bernd heinrich is a professor emeritus in the biology department at the university of vermont and is the author of numerous books related to his research examining the adaptations of animals and plants to their physical environments. He also has written books on his personal reflections of nature. His latest book is “one wild bird at a time”
