Support

Your support makes a difference. More concerts, more theatre, more youth art classes, more movies, more community events. Less than 50% of our total budget is covered by ticket sales and program fees. By making a gift to Waterville Creates you help sustain outstanding arts and cultural programming that is accessible to all.

Annual Fund

If you believe in the power of the arts, please make a gift today. If you would like to support a specific program, you may choose to designate your gift to the Maine Film Center, Waterville Opera House, or Ticonic Gallery + Studio. You may choose to make a one-time gift or increase your support with a monthly, recurring gift. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Youth Arts Access Fund

The Youth Arts Access Fund (YAAF) is a dedicated fund that supports free access to Waterville Creates’ events and programs for youth aged 18 and under. Waterville Creates believes all youth, regardless of income, ability, or background, should have access to outstanding arts programming and arts education opportunities.

Membership

Explore, enjoy, and support the arts with a Waterville Creates membership. Your membership entitles you to discounts and benefits across all of our divisions, including the Maine Film Center, Waterville Opera House, and Ticonic Gallery + Studios, as well as special perks from our founding partners, the Waterville Public Library and the Colby College Museum of Art.

In addition to the tangible benefits you will receive, your membership will signal your belief in our mission and help us to sustain outstanding, accessible arts programming for all members of our community.

Sponsorship

From the Maine International Film Festival to live music at the Waterville Opera House, our programs not only offer unique opportunities for community members to engage in the arts, they also generate significant economic activity for the entire Kennebec Valley region. Because less than 50% of our budget is covered by ticket sales, we rely on a broad base of support from individual donors, foundations, and businesses who understand the value of the arts. If your business would like to invest in the arts and cultural programming of Waterville Creates and receive high-profile exposure to tens of thousands of patrons each year, we would love to discuss sponsorship opportunities with you.

Take A Seat

Be part of Waterville’s enduring legacy of community arts programming. For $1,000, name a seat for yourself, your family, your business, or someone you would like to honor. Choose from a seat in one of the Maine Film Center cinemas in the Paul J. Schupf Art Center, or a seat in the historic Waterville Opera House.

Volunteer

By volunteering, you can give back to your community while supporting events and performances at the Waterville Opera House, gain program and exhibition experience at Ticonic Gallery + Studios, and welcome filmgoers and filmmakers from around the world at the Maine International Film Festival.
